About Me

DR JUSTIN DINLEY
Endodontics Specialist, GDC Registered.
BDS, MSc, DPDS, DipImpDent.RCS.eng
GDC Number: 75849

I have been a qualified dental surgeon for 23 years and during that time I have completed a restorative diploma, a Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in London, and a master’s degree in Endodontics. I worked closely with maxillofacial surgeons and restorative consultants for 3 years as a Clinical Assistant/Associate specialist at Poole General Hospital gaining experience in multi-disciplinary treatments and treatment of patients with complex medical problems.

Since moving to Derby/Nottingham In 2010 I have worked solely in Specialist Practices with Prosthodontists, Periodontists, and Oral Surgeons.

For the past 10 years, my practice has been solely limited to Endodontics and I am one of only 200+ specialists in Endodontics registered with the General Dental Council UK and accept approximately 2000 referrals a year from local dentists.

Education is a passion for me, not only for my journey striving to continually develop and update my knowledge and skill set (learning from internationally renowned Endodontists) but also for sharing knowledge and helping other dentists develop.

I have run academic and hands-on courses at a local level, internationally (Middle east and Scandinavia), and been the first-year clinical lead and hands-on teacher for an MClinDent Master’s degree course from 2014 – 2020.

I have had the pleasure of being an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons, assessing colleagues here in the UK and Egypt.

I also offer mentoring services to dentists at my practice, and I will always provide local dentists advice on procedures or clinical guidance.

Although I no longer offer implant treatments, I feel uniquely positioned to advise patients whether implants or root canal treatments are their best options, due to being qualified in both these areas. I pride myself on honest, open discussions with patients who are referred

to me as to their best options for treatment and all patients are referred back to their original dentist for other treatments unless we are asked otherwise.

All treatments are carried out using a state-of-the-art microscope, CBCT scanners, Digital Radiography, and painless Intra-Osseous anaesthesia.

The CQC regulates us to ensure strict hygiene and disinfection. All our instruments are single-use only for one patient and are disposed of afterward to guarantee that patients are in the safest hands.
